Home loan pre-approval

Find out how much you can borrow — and what your EMI would look like — before you start visiting builder floors. It is free, takes a minute, and puts you a step ahead when you find the right home.

Know your real budget

A pre-approval tells you how much a lender is likely to offer, so you shop in the right price band instead of guessing.

Move faster on the right floor

Sellers take a pre-approved buyer more seriously. When you find the right builder floor, your paperwork is already in motion.

No obligation, no cost

A pre-approval enquiry does not commit you to a loan or a lender. It is a planning step — you stay in control of every decision.

How it works

Step 1
Share a few details

Your name, phone, rough budget and employment type. Thirty seconds, no documents yet.

Step 2
Talk to an advisor

A loan advisor calls to understand your profile and explains the likely eligibility and rate band.

Step 3
Get an in-principle view

Based on your income and credit, you get an indicative sanction amount to guide your search.

What you’ll need (later)

Nothing is required to get started — these come into play only at the formal application stage.

  • Identity & address proof (PAN, Aadhaar)
  • Last 3–6 months’ salary slips or 2 years’ ITR if self-employed
  • Last 6 months’ bank statements
  • A credit score of around 750+ helps you get the best rates

Pre-approval FAQs

Is a pre-approval the same as a sanctioned loan?+

No. A pre-approval is an in-principle, indicative view of how much you may be eligible to borrow, based on the details you share. The final sanction is the lender’s decision after full document verification and a property check. Treat the figures as a planning guide, not a guarantee.

Does requesting a pre-approval affect my credit score?+

This enquiry is a request for a callback and does not itself pull your credit report. A lender may run a credit check later, with your consent, as part of the formal application. We will always tell you before anything that affects your score.

How long does a pre-approval stay valid?+

Validity varies by lender, but an in-principle approval typically holds for a few weeks to a few months. Rates and eligibility can change in that window, so confirm the current terms with the lender before you commit.

Is there any fee to get pre-approved through Floors & Floors?+

No. The pre-approval enquiry and advisor callback are free, with no obligation. Any processing or legal fees charged later belong to the lender and are disclosed upfront before you proceed.

What interest rate will I get?+

Home-loan rates in India are largely floating and linked to an external benchmark, and the exact rate depends on your profile, the lender and the market at the time. We can indicate a likely band, but always confirm the current rate with the lender in writing.

Floors & Floors is a property marketplace, not a lender. Pre-approval assistance connects you with lending partners; all figures are indicative and the final loan decision, rate and terms rest with the lender after their own verification.
